Chenille and shadow weave are the perfect pair. Chenille requires a densely woven fabric that has only very short floats and shadow weave delivers that in a design that looks more complicated than it really is. Here we've used them together in a plush scarf that evokes Spanish tiles. Two colors alternate in the warp and weft, both at 16 threads per inch. The kit makes one scarf with dimensions of about 8" x 58" plus fringe. They can be hand washed or machine washed on gentle and air dried, with a short fluff in the dryer.
