This cord is heavier than the standard Texsolv cord so it is often used to connect the apron bar to the beam on large looms that will be generating high tension. Like the standard cord, the beam cord is made of polyester but the heavy beam cord has openings of slightly under 3/4" long. The cord can loop through itself or be used with pegs as an alternative to tying knots.

The Texsolv beam cord is packaged in 30-yard spools.
