Weave a trio of cheery towels in absorbent 22/2 cottolin. The warp is threaded in two blocks of rosepath sett at 20 epi. The weft is a single color of 22/2 cottolin, beaten at 20 ppi. Cottolin, a blend of 60% cotton and 40% linen, is a great yarn for towels. It is more absorbent than 100% cotton but less challenging to tension than 100% linen.
- makes 3 towels, 18" x 18"
- 8 harness rosepath
- 23" weaving width sett at 20 epi in a 10-dent reed
- designed for 22/2 cottolin
- challenge--even tension required to avoid broken threads
