Shadow weave creates a complicated-looking pattern with surprisingly few harnesses. It results from alternating two colors in both the warp and the weft. For our shawl, we're using 5/2 Rayon, a 100% rayon yarn with lots of drape. It is sett at 16 ends per inch for a fairly lightweight and supple fabric.  The finished shawl is approximately 15" x 60". It can be hand washed and dried flat.

You will need:

• 18.125" weaving width
• 4 harnesses
• 8-dent reed
• 288 heddles
• 2 boat shuttles
• 2 bobbins
