Simple and pretty, but with a little lace edging to keep you interested. What could be better for spring? The back and front pieces of this tee are worked from the bottom up. The 8-row lace pattern is worked at the hem and sleeve edges, following written directions. The rest of the body is stockinette. The sleeves are knit separately and then sewn to the raglan-shaped shoulders. A simple edging of garter finishes the neck. Finished chest measurements are 37 (41, 45, 49, 53, 57, 61, 65, 69)" with lengths of 20.5 (21.25, 21.5, 21.5, 22, 22.5, 22.5, 23, 23.5)". Reese was designed for a loose fit, worn with 4-6" of ease. It can be machine washed on delicate and dried flat. Berroco rates this Donna Yacino design as requiring intermediate skills.
Reese is knit in Berroco's summer-weight blend of five receycled fibers: 30% nylon, 27% cotton, 24% acrylic, 10% silk, and 9% linen. They are spun together into a DK-weight yarn that is knit here at an airy gauge of 5 stitches per inch. The yarn is a tweed, for a casual, relaxed look.
The kit includes the pattern and yarn. For this project you will also need:
- single point or circular needles in US size 5 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
- 24" circular needle in US size 5
- 2 stitch markers
- tapestry needle
Reese is shown in a color of Remix Light that is no longer available, but there are lots of great colors still to choose from. Please see our Remix Light page to view the options. Then return to this page, order the kit, and tell us your color choice in the box above.
