Have a friend who could use a hug? If you can't be there as much as you'd like to be, send this prayer shawl. When she wraps herself up in it, she'll know that you are thinking of her. The shawl is made from easy-care Marble Chunky, so you won't burden her with hand washing. It is 100% acrylic 2-ply yarn, where each ply is variegated separately before plying. This gives the yarn more variety overall but less of a striping effect. The finished dimensions of the stole are 19" x 67" plus fringe. It can be machine washed.

You will need:

• 20" rigid heddle loom with an 8 dent heddle or 22" rigid heddle loom with 7.5 dent heddle or 20" 2 harness loom with 8 dent reed
• 160 heddles if using a loom with harnesses
• 2 stick shuttles or one boat shuttle with 2 bobbins
