Color and weave effect can take a relatively simple threading, like rosepath here, and turn it into something much more complicated-looking. In this project, you alternate two colors, both in the warp and the weft, to make a unique block design. The yarn is 3/2 perle cotton, at 12 threads per inch for both the sett and beat. We've given two variations for the towel. Make one of each or two the same! The kit makes two hemmed towels with finished dimensions of 19" x 26". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• 23" weaving width
• 8 harnesses
• 12-dent reed
• 272 heddles
• 1 boat shuttle and 3 bobbins
• needle and thread for hemming

We used 3/2 Perle colors 141 Silver and 78 Charcoal for our towels.
