Detailed Description

The weaving class listed below is designed for those who have threaded a 4-harness loom, can follow a draft and weave independently.

MONK'S BELT HOLIDAY RUNNER

Nov. 28-29 (Sat.-Sun.) 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 2 days

Bring in some holiday sophistication with this runner woven with supplementary warp in the 3 contrasting colors. Use traditional Christmas colors for a festive table décor or select 3 other contrasting colors for a year-round table runner. This design comes from Weaver's Craft #26 ($8) and you will need to purchase a copy of the magazine for use in class along with 4 colors in 5/2 Perle cotton. Make it easy and purchase the kit listed below. We will wind the warp used in the ground cloth and you will wind the warp using the 3 contrast colors and learn how to thread for a supplementary warp on 4-harness looms. You will weave a runner that measures 8"x 38" including fringe and learn how fun it is to weave turned monk's belt. By Katie Werner.

No refunds/credits for cancellations after Nov. 13 unless we find a replacement for you.

Please purchase your class supplies before the first day of class. You can order it online. Just be sure to include a message that we should hold the yarn at the store to pick up during class. We will remove the shipping fee and apply your class discount.
