This cuddly blanket is woven using Lanaloft Sport Handpaint and Lanaloft Sport. Both are single-ply 100% wool yarns made in Nebraska. Squares of basket weave set within a background of plain weave give a soft, cozy feel and the variety of the variegated yarn makes a nice contrast to the geometry of the grid. Two colors are used: the variegated Lanaloft Sport Handpaint is the warp (sett at 10 epi), so you get variegated fringe, and the solid Lanaloft Sport is the weft.
