Nothing could be cuter than this pair of elves, whether they are perching on your mantle, hiding among the packages under the tree, or taking center stage on your table. They are knit using Nature Spun Worsted, a worsted weight wool from the Brown Sheep Company, with Lana Boucle for the beards. Both yarns are made in Nebraska at the Brown Sheep Company.

The elves are knit in the round from the bottom up. The body is stuffed as you go and then the nose and boots are knit and sewn on. The hat is knit in the round and topped with a jingle bell. The elves measure approximately 10" tall to the tip of the hat. Because elves do not all dress alike, two reds are included in the kit.

The kit includes the pattern, yarn, and jingle bells to make two elves. You will also need:

• double point needles (or your favorite alternative) in US size 5 or size needed to make a firm fabric that will not show stuffing
• poly-fil stuffing
• tapestry needle
