This stole has several things going for it. The yarn is Zephyr, a 50% wool/50% silk blend. It is soft, warm, luxurious, and has a fabulous hand. We've striped the warp using three colors threaded in a 4 harness draft that creates a striking pattern for the gold stripes and a different, subtler pattern for the burgundy and gray stripes. The warp colors are fairly strong, but the muted weft tempers their impact for a more subdued color combination. The warp is sett at 24 epi for a light, wrapable, loopable fabric.
