The HiyaHiya bamboo interchangeable needle sets are divided by size. The small set includes 5" needle tips in sizes US 2-8. The large set includes 5" tips in sizes US 9-15. Both sets include 2 cables in length 26" and one each of 34" and 42". A pair of needle grippers for tightening the connection comes with each set. The tips are made of bamboo impregnated with resin for strength and smoothness. The cloth cases have colorful brocade outer fabric and black cotton linings.

To connect the tips to the cables, you insert the screw tip on a needle into the connector on the cable and turn. Needle grippers are provided so that you can grasp the needle connections and tighten securely.

Each case unfolds to reveal the pairs of needle tips stored in their pockets. The cables are kept in a zippered pocket on the back of the case. A zippered pocket inside the case can be used to hold stitch markers, cable needles, or other small tools. The case folds to a compact 7" square and ties closed with fabric ties through a fabric loop.
