A simple 4-petal flower is worked against a background of huck lace in this pretty lap blanket. The overall design follows a grid, with squares of huck lace alternating with squares featuring the flower. The blanket uses Bamboo Cotton 990, an undyed yarn made from organic cotton and rayon from bamboo. It is amazingly soft with a little heft and a lot of drape. It is the natural cream color of cotton but the rayon adds a nice brightness to it. The finished measurements are 31" x 41". The blanket can be machine washed on gentle and dried flat.

You will need:

• 3 skeins Bamboo Cotton 990
• 1 oz 5/2 perle in natural
• 36" weaving width
• 8 harnesses
• 10 dent reed
• 357 heddles
• large boat shuttle and bobbins or long flat shuttle
• needle and thread for hemming
