Summer is about bright, happy colors and smooth sailing. That's what you get with the Decades Summer Shawl. The bright colors come from Yarn Barn's Decades, a yarn hand-dyed just for us by Th'Red Head of Kansas City. It's colorways are inspired by the decades that Yarn Barn has been here. We've teamed it with solid color Cotton 8/4. The two are striped in the warp, sett at 12 epi. The weft is all Cotton 8/4, woven in plain weave. That's the smooth sailing part. The finished wrap measures approximately 18.5" x 70". It can be hand or machine laundered.

You will need:

• 1 skein Decades and 1 tube Cotton 8/4
• 21" weaving width
• 2 harnesses or rigid heddle loom
• 12 dent reed or rigid heddle
• 252 heddles if using a loom with harnesses
• boat shuttle and bobbin

Our sample shawl was woven using Decades color Uptown Funk and Cotton 8/4 color 1315 Light Orange.
