Every baby needs a special blanket (even if that baby has four paws and whiskers!) This one is perfect for those summer arrivals, woven in Cotton 8/4. The warp and weft both use the same striping pattern that transitions from one color to the next across the width and length. Four colors are used, sett and beat at 15 threads per inch. This is a fairly quick project, thanks to easy threading and treadling sequences.  The kit makes either one or two blankets, each measuring approximately 26" x 30.5". They can be machine washed and dried.

You will need:

• Cotton 8/4: 1 tube each 100 Natural, 431 Yellow, 3161 Yellow Orange, and 1315 Light Orange
• 32" weaving width
• 8 harnesses
• 10 or 15 dent reed
• 480 heddles
• shuttles and 4 bobbins
• needle and thread or sewing machine for hemming
