Cascade is an 8/2 bombyx silk from Henry's Attic with high lustre and excellent drape. It is sett and beat at 18 epi and 18 ppi, so it is not too fine to be easy to work with or too heavy to wear the scarf year-round. We designed this scarf to show off the sheen with a point twill pattern that creates translucent areas surrounded by more solid sections. The light reflecting on the surface emphasizes the pattern even though both the warp and weft are the same natural white silk.
