Simple shaping and fresh colors make Villa an easy top to wear all summer long. The front and back are worked in stockinette and are banded with a garter stitch edging at the bottom. In fact, the work starts with the garter stitch band. It is knit side-to-side. Before it is joined into a circle. stitches are picked up along its upper edge to work the back from the bottom up. The front is worked the same way. Once they are joined, stitches are picked up and then bound off in a simple edging for the neck and sleeves. Villa was designed to be worn with approximately 2-4" of ease. Finished chest measurements are 34 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)" with finished lengths of 19 (19, 19.5, 20, 20.5, 21, 2.5, 22)". Berroco has given this Amy Cristoffers design a difficulty rating of intermediate.

Medina is a summer dream, with one warm color flowing into another. It blends 37% cotton with 36% acrylic and 27% viscose for a breathable yarn that makes great warm-weather garments. It is a DK weight yarn and is knitted in this project at 5.75 stitcher per inch in stockinette. Medina can be machine washed in cold on delicate and dried flat. Due to the print effect, some dye may release during the laundering process.
