Even beginners can get terrific results when they use striking yarn. This scarf is simple plain weave, woven on a rigid heddle loom, but with the dynamic colors of Malabrigo's Rios yarn, you couldn't ask for more. Hand-dyed Rios is striped with solid Cascade 220 Superwash in both the warp and the weft for a fun, happy, EASY scarf. Both yarns are superwash wool so they are warm but still easy-care. The kit makes one scarf, approximately 6.75" x 67" plus fringe. It can be machine washed on gentle, fluffed briefly in the dryer, and dried flat.

You will need:

• 2 skeins Rios and 1 skein Cascade 220 Superwash
• rigid heddle loom with 8" weaving width
• 7.5 or 8 dent rigid heddle
• 2 flat shuttles
• fringe twister (optional)
