If you need to measure long warps, a warping mill can help you! Rather than wrapping the warp around pegs on a flat board, with a warping mill, you spin the mill, wrapping the entire mill. This vertical mill from Ashford can measure warps of up to 50 feet (over 16 yards.) There are two sets of pegs to make crosses as well as starting and ending pegs. To adjust the warp length, you move the position of the pegs along the mill uprights. The mill is made of beech hardwood. It ships unfinished and unassembled.
