One-Shuttle IkatNo, this isn’t truly ikat but could pass for it. We discovered that self-patterning sock yarn creates an ikat-dyed look. Best thing is that the tying and dyeing are already done for you! The warp is a solid color of Rayon Slub sett at 16 epi. The weft is just one color of Sox, a 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon blend, woven in plain weave. Sox comes in lots of colors, so if our color combination isn't to your taste, check out the other colors of Sox and make your own colorway! The finished scarf is 7.5" x 68" plus fringe. It can be hand washed and dried flat. You will need: - 8” weaving width
- 2 harnesses
- 8 or 12 dent reed
- 128 heddles
- 1 shuttle and 6-8 bobbins
