Pony 2-Ply is an even-spun 2-ply yarn. It has a soft hand because it is 100% Merino wool, the softest of wools. It is great for lace knitting and weaving lightweight fabrics like shawls and scarves. Pony 2-Ply will felt, but if you are looking for a yarn designed particularly for felting, you want Felting Pony.
This wool can be dyed using Washfast dyes.
This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process.
This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount. Other items (tools, books, DVDs, etc.) can contribute to the total but do not, themselves, receive a discount.
