Alpaca Lace is a very fine two-ply yarn from Henry's Attic, a company that specializes in undyed natural fiber yarn. It is soft, but not stretchy, so it works well for warp. While not like an angora or mohair, the surface has some surface fluff, adding to the warmth and volume. We used it for an experiment in crammed and spaced warp and weft and it had enough "grab" to make a satisfyingly stable scarf.
This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount. Other items (tools, books, DVDs, etc.) can contribute to the total but do not, themselves, receive a discount.
