This knitting class is suitable for knitters who have been actively knitting and would like to expand their technical skills. If you know how to knit, but it has been a few years since you picked up needles and yarn, please take the Introduction to Knitting class first.

INTRODUCTION TO LACE KNITTING

Learn to knit lace patterns with yarn overs and decreases. Practice reading charts and we'll discuss tips for keeping track of your pattern and correcting mistakes. By Mary Mortensen.

Please purchase your class supplies before the first day of class. You can order it online. Just be sure to include a message that we should hold the yarn at the store to pick up during class.

Class supply list:

• Pattern supplied during class.
• Approximately 20 yards of a sport of DK weight yarn in a light color shade. Please bring solid shades only.
• Circular or single point US 5 or 6 for sport weight, US 6 or 7 for DK weight
• Row counter/ notetaking tools for your preferred way of keeping track of rows
• Stitch markers
• Scissors

PARKING: The parking garage is located at 927 New Hampshire Street. Top level parking is free. Level 2 parking is $2.00 to park 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Street level and basement level parking is limited to 2 hours. Pay stations are located at each stairwell on the street level. Sunday parking is free downtown.
