Big, boxy, and beautiful! The Nolan pullover is all three. It is designed to be worn with an amazing 14-18" of ease, for the comfortable, slouchy fit of your favorite weekend sweater. The cabled chevron pattern is worked on the front and back following a chart while the sleeves are simple stockinette. The front and back are worked flat as separate pieces and sewn together at the shoulders. Then stitches are picked up and worked downward for the sleeves (knit flat and then seamed). Stitches are picked up and worked in ribbing and stockinette for the collar. Finished chest measurements are 47.5 (50.5, 55, 58, 62.5, 65.5)" with finished lengths of 23.25 (23.75, 25.75, 26.25, 28.5, 29)". The sweater can be hand washed and dried flat. Brooklyn Tweed has assigned this Julie Hoover design a skill level rating of 3 out of 5 (intermediate).
Nolan uses Arbor, made by Brooklyn Tweed. This is a DK weight yarn that is made using three worsted-spun plies firmly twisted together, creating a smooth yarn with excellent stitch definition. It is perfect for showing off the textured stitches of this design!
