This Elizabeth Smith design is an A-line shaped seamless cardigan featuring gradient stripes. Warm and comfortably wearable, this will become one of your favorite slip-on jackets. It is a top-down sweater with raglan construction. The front band is worked in the darkest color and is added by picking up stitches along the edge. Short rows are used to create the shawl collar. We are using Lamb's Pride Worsted yarn for this project because it has a wonderful color palette of natural greys and browns along with many dyed colors. Lamb's Pride is 85% wool and 15% mohair. It is a single ply and made in Nebraska. It can be hand washed and dried flat. The sweater's finished chest measurements are 33.75" (36, 39, 42.25, 45.25, 48.5, 51.5, 54.25).
The kit includes the pattern and yarn. For this project you will also need:
