BEGINNING RIGID HEDDLE WEAVING
If you like color and texture, then weave with the simple rigid heddle loom, which is quick, popular, and easy. You will learn a fast way to thread the loom and then weave a scarf. If you need a loom, we will have one for you to use and, if you buy one the day of the class, you will get a 10% discount on it. If you already own a loom, be sure it is complete, assembled, and in working condition with an 8- or 7.5-dent heddle. By Mary Margaret Eisfelder.

BASIC BEGINNING WEAVING
In this introductory class to harness weaving, you will make a simple 6 x 50 scarf using twill, a simple threading pattern. This is a good review class for previous weavers or one for those wanting a good introduction to weaving. You will learn to read a draft, measure a warp, thread a loom, and weave off a project. No experience needed. We will use a heavier yarn to make the threading and weaving progress more quickly. Looms and tools are provided during class. Yarns can be purchased on the first day of class. By Susan Bateman.
