Zip's name is a clue to its secret: a zipper that runs down the back from the top of the hood to the lower edge. Unzip it, let your child walk into it, and zip it up the back, with no fuss or struggle. Seed stitch accents the sleeves and upper body while the hood and lower body are stockinette. The body is knit flat. The two sleeves are worked in the round and they are joined to the body at the underarms. Work continues upward to complete the yoke and hood using short rows. Zip uses Weepaca, a worsted weight blend of superwash Merino wool and baby alpaca, which is wonderfully soft and machine washable. The hoodie is sized for 12 (18, 24) months, with finished chest measurements of 20 (22.5, 24)". Designed by Julie Weisenberger.
