This versatile cotton jacket can be work two ways: a short version with a wide collar or flipped upside down for a long jacket with a narrow collar. In Irina Poludnenko's design, the sleeve section is knit as one piece from cuff to cuff. The collar and tail sections are knit separately and sewn on. The sweater is worked in seed stitch, which enhances the texture of the thick-and-thin cotton yarn called Ripple and creates a pebbly texture. The finished cuff-to-cuff measurements are 54 (58, 62)" with lengths for the short version of 22 (23, 25)". The sweater can be hand washed and dried flat.
The kit includes the pattern and the yarn. For this project you will also need:
- single point needles in US size 7 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
- stitch markers
- tapestry needle
