Overall moss stich patterning gives texture to this simple oversized cardigan. It has a wide, cozy collar and practical pockets at the sides. This sweater uses Tahki's Tucson, a blend of cotton and wool that is lofty and so soft you won't believe it has wool in it. It has a slight thick/thin variation that enhances the moss stich texture. The back and fronts of the sweater are worked from the bottom up separately and then joined at the shoulders using a 3-needle bindoff. The sleeves and pockets are worked separately and then sewn on. Finished chest measurements are 52.5 (62)" with finished back lengths of 28 (30)". The sweater can be hand washed and dried flat.
For this project you will also need:
- single point needles in US size 9 (OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE)
- single point needles in US 8
- 2 stitch holders
- tapestry needle
