ART OF PLYING.
An important skill beyond basic spinning is creating balanced multi-plied yarns. In this class, Cindy will explain the basic concepts and skills of plying and build upon these basic skills to create fun textured yarns. Yarn creations will include corespinning, tailspun mohair, and other techniques to create textured yarns. Students should be comfortable spinners and will need to bring in their own spun singles on 3 bobbins. This will be a creative and fun-filled afternoon! By Cindy Hornberger.
