This video assumes you are familiar with basic straight and bias plaiting techniques and the tuck & fold rim. If not, begin with Shereen’s video Shaping in Plaiting - Hanging Baskets. You will use basic shaping and plaiting techniques in this video to create a four-footed basket, a “W” footed basket with straight and angled sides, a caterpillar basket, a 6 and 8 footed crown or ripple basket and a 6 footed plaid basket with a center star.
