Quilt and Cable Blanket in Eco WoolCambria Washington designed this amazing knitted blanket in Eco Wool. It is both simple and complex at the same time. The cable motif is large, with a written 24-stitch, 40-row repeat, but it is the only motif. Master it and you don't have to worry about anything else. The garter stitch edging is worked on all four sides as you go, so no picking up and knitting for the border. The finished blanket is approximately 52" x 64". This blanket is designed for Eco Wool, a bulky weight 100% wool yarn from Cascade Yarns. It comes in very large hanks, which helps keep the price down, and combines natural heathers, dyed solid colors, and marls in its color line. It can be hand washed and dried flat
The kit includes the pattern and yarn. For this project you will also need:
- 40" circular needle in size US 8 OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- 12 stitch markers: 4 in one color and 8 in another
- cable needle
- tapestry needle
- row counter (optional, but recommended)
- blocking wires (optional, but recommended)
