Navajo warp is a strong wool warp used for warp in weft-faced fabrics like rugs or tapestry. The wool fiber grips the weft and helps keep it in place. It is an excellent choice for saddle blankets, since the horse sweat won't rot wool the way it can a cotton or linen warp.
