The lucet is used to make a decorative square braid. It was used as early as the 17th century and became very popular during the Victorian era. The braid can be used for lacing or couched onto a fabric as surface embellishment. Basic instructions are included. Dimensions: 7 7/8" long; 2 5/8" wide; 1/4" thick
