Kathleen 1-Ball Slit Scarf in CrystalRamp up the wow factor with this simple but alluring scarf made, as the name says, with just one ball of yarn. The shape stays sleek, with no bulky knot, because the scarf is made with a slit for the pass-through. It is knit from point to point with stitches temporarily left on a holder for the slit. The tails and neck of the scarf are garter stitch and the area around the slit is ribbing. The scarf measures 5" x 46" after blocking.
The Kathleen scarf is made using Crystal by Takhi Stacy Charles. It is a blend of 85% polyester and 15% cotton. The plied core of the yarn is very shiny and tiny sequins are spaced throughout the length of the yarn. The scarf can be hand washed and dried flat.

- safety pin or locking stitch marker
- tapestry needle
