Moriah is a fine, evenspun wool. Our customers often buy it for lace knitting but it is also a good choice for lace weaving. The yarn is fine, with a fairly soft twist, so it would be a good choice for a scarf or garment fabric that you would like to drape around the body.
This wool can be dyed using Washfast dyes.
Moriah comes in a reeled hank that will need to be wound into a ball before it is used. If you would like instructions for doing this, please request them in the box headed "Shipping Instructions" during the check out process. Using a ball winder and swift will make this task easier.
This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount. Other items (tools, books, DVDs, etc.) can contribute to the total but do not, themselves, receive a discount.
