Monty's 3/9 is a classic lightweight, lofty wool. It is evenspun, soft, and very economical for large projects. If you are knitting with it, it works as a fingering weight yarn for a light, warm sweater. For weaving, sett it at 12 epi for an elegant shawl or lightweight blanket.
Monty 3/9's can be dyed using Washfast dyes.
This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process.
This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount. Other items (tools, books, DVDs, etc.) can contribute to the total but do not, themselves, receive a discount.
