Mikado is a highly textured yarn that would make a fantastic accent on a blanket or, used by itself, a dramatic knitted or woven scarf. The spin is irregular, with some areas fairly firmly spun and other areas quite lofty. The spiral slides a little on its binder, so Mikado would be a better weft yarn or knitting yarn than warp yarn.
Mikado can be dyed using Washfast dyes.

This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts!
