Kid Mohair 2000 has been a popular yarn for lace knitted shawls. The fine core is almost invisible and the mohair fiber gives a delicate haze to a lightweight, warm shawl. It can be used for either warp or weft in a woven project. It looks fine, but don't sett it closer than 8 epi--or you might find that you can't open the shed!
Kid Mohair 2000 can be dyed using Washfast dyes.
This yarn comes in a reeled hank, which must be wound into a ball before use. We are happy to wind the yarn for you at no charge, but this does make the yarn non-returnable. If you would like your skeins wound, please request it in the "Shipping Instructions" box during the checkout process.
This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount.
