You will learn how to use thickened bleach for discharging as well as thickened thiourea dioxide. You can also use a sodium alginate thickener on the fabric and then paint or screen a more watery thiourea dioxide onto the fabric. Once the fabric is painted, you will steam the area to discharge with an iron or in a steaming pot. Shibori tied fabric can also be reduced in a heated discharge bath. 90 minutes.
