Delectable Mountains Quilt Book & DVD |
|
Delectable Mountains was given its name by Colonial quilters to memorialize John Bunyan’s allegory, The Pilgrim’s Progress. Eleanor demonstrates a strip technique of slicing rectangles into peaks then sewing them back together to form mountain and sky blocks. This easy quilt is made in rounds, beginning with the center square which can be a pieced star or appliqued flower. An acrylic template is included in the book for accurate measurements. 75 min.
