This video includes all the techniques necessary to knit a basic circular drop-shoulder cardigan. The pattern includes a small color pattern at the top of the body and sleeves, and a scooped out neckline. The armholes and center front are machine stitched and cut open; the sleeves sewn in, and the cardigan border knitted in one piece directly onto the body. Techniques shown include: casting on and k1b, p1 rib, increasing, short rows and wrapping, knitting-back backward, steeks, color pattern knitting, machine stitching, cutting, mitered corners, neck shaping, one-row buttonholes, two-stitch I-Cord Cast Off and finish of cut edge. 90 minutes.
