BEGINNING WEAVING Learn all you need to know to start weaving independently on a four harness floor loom. You will measure warp, thread the loom, and weave a sampler of several different patterns. Learn to read threading drafts. You will need 2 or 3 mini-cones of 3/2 perle cotton to be purchased the day of the class ($16.00-$24.00). By Susan Bateman.

Beg Rigid Heddle Weaving 4/21-22 MME

Apr. 21-22 (Sat/Sun) Sat 10-4pm; Sun 12-3 pm, 2 days
If you like color and texture, then weave with the simple rigid heddle loom, which is quick, popular, and easy. You will learn a fast way to thread the loom and then weave a scarf. If you need a loom, we will have one for you to use and, if you buy one the day of the class, you’ll get a 10% discount on it. If you already own a loom, be sure it is complete, assembled, and in working condition with an 8- or 10-dent heddle.
