No previous spinning experience necessary. All materials and equipment are provided for in the Beginning Spinning classes. Please read over the description to find out if you are required to bring your own spinning wheel for and intermediate spinning class.

We will give you an introduction to the drop spindle, but the main focus will be on wheels. By the end of the day you will be plying your first skein of yarn from what you have spun. No materials required; wheels provided.

BEGINNING DROP SPINDLE SPINNING
If you are not able to invest the resources or space for a spinning wheel, why not give the drop spindle a try? You will be able to spin and ply the same types of fibers on a drop spindle as on a spinning wheel. This class is a great introduction to spinning. You will need to purchase the Schacht 2.5 Hi-Lo drop spindle for class ($24); a fiber goodie bag is provided in class. By Samantha Stopple.
