Not only is this basket weave afghan good looking, it’s also incredibly soft and machine washable/dryable using Encore or Encore Tweed. The pattern shows up even more by using seed stitch, garter stitch, and stockinette stitch in the weave design. The yarn is doubled throughout making it a quick-to-knit project. A definite winner. Size 13 needles needed. Approximate finished size is 40” x 45”. Kit includes yarn and pattern.
