Baby Argyle Pullover in Dream Baby DK
There is something adorable about a preppie sweater on a baby. This little sweater is an easy one, with the Argyle pattern worked from a chart and restricted to a single band above the ribbing at the lower edge and cuffs. The front, back, and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up and the neck stitches left on a holder. Once the pieces are assembled, the neck stitches are picked up and knit. The sweater comes in three sizes for 0-3(6-12, 18-24) months. The finished chest measurements are 20 (22, 24)" and finished lengths are 10 (11, 12)". The finished sleeves, measured from the underarm, are 6 (7, 8)".
Dream Baby DK is a great choice for kids' sweaters because it is easy care and very soft. The red and tan on this little guy looks very dapper, but there are pastel solid colors and dot colors to consider as well. Because it is 50% acrylic microfiber and 50% nylon, it can be machine washed and dried.
