The DVD begins with a survey of the collection of photos and textiles relating to Maya weaving at UC-Berkeley. Footage of present-day Maya life is interwoven to detail the cultural changes brought by political upheaval, mass media, changing role of women, tourism, and imported textiles. 53 minutes.
