Bombyx silk is the cultivated silk from the cocoons of the silk moth Bombyx mori. This is a reeled silk, giving it high luster, strength, and resilience. The natural color is a cream and it takes dye well using a dye like Washfast. The 30/2 silk is supple and strong for its size, making it a great choice for fine weight scarves and clothing.

This yarn is eligible for the bulk discounts! When your order total, including all products, reaches $100, the yarn will receive a 10% discount, at $150, it will receive a 15% discount, and at $200, it will receive a 20% discount. Other items (tools, books, DVDs, etc.) can contribute to the total but do not, themselves, receive a discount.
